MAviO is a well-established conference that brings together the different strata of the Maltese aviation scene. Since its inception in 2011, it has filled a void that had long been felt by the local aviation industry at large. MAviO is widely renowned for its networking opportunities and is the must-attend event which serves as an incubator for new ideas to be moulded and launched. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 10th edition of the conference has been postponed to 2022.

MAviO has always distinguished itself for the high-level of speakers it attracts. In 2019, MAviO was very proud to welcome the CEO of FTI Group Dietmar Gunz, who gave an excellent presentation on paper airlines, having been on both sides of the coin, as an airline owner and as manager of Europe’s largest paper airline.
With an all-time high of more than 130 delegates present, including Lufthansa Technik Malta, Malta MedAir, DF Advocates, flyLeOne.com and SR Technics, and a hefty number of C-Level delegates from other entities, MAviO is firmly enshrined as Malta’s largest and most well-attended aviation conference on the island.
Set on an isolated gentle slope to the North of Malta, the Salini Resort commands spectacular open views of Salini Bay and the Mediterranean Sea.
